JOHN R. EVANS

Redwood City Democrat

John R, Evans, a former old resident of the county, passed away in San Francisco on the 3rd instant and was buried in Union Cemetery Monday beside his wife, who died in Redwood City several years ago.

Mr. Evans formerly resided on the coast side and conducted the San Gregorio hotel of which hostelry he was the builder. He sold Out to Palmer and Bell and made his home here. He was a native of England, aged 79 years.
