JACOB JACOBUS

Jacob Jacobus, one of the early pioneers of this county, passed away at the residence of his son, Charles Jacobus, in this city Thursday, at the advanced age of 78 years. Deceased was a native of New Jersey and came to California in 1850. Mr. Jacobus was well known and highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves four sons; Charles, Linas, Silva and George. His burial took place Saturday in Union Cemetery.
