CHARLES A. KIRKPATRICK

Redwood City Democrat

April 28, 1892

Dr. Chas A. Kirkpatrick died at St. Lukes Hospital, San Francisco, yesterday where he had been stopping for medical treatment. Deceased had been an invalid for eighteen months and recently suffered paralysis. Dr. Kirkpatrick was a pioneer, having come to this state in 1849. In 1862, he was attached to Gen. Conner’s brigade, and accompanied the troops to Utah where he rendered efficient medical aid during the Utah campaign. He was also stationed for a short period in Humboldt County. The doctor came to Redwood 25 years ago. He leaves a widow and six children surviving him. The funeral will take place at this place on Friday, April 25th at 2 p.m. Interment at Union Cemetery.
