CHARLES KUCK

Charles Kuck died at the residence of his uncle, Martin Kuck, Sunday morning and the funeral took place Tuesday under the auspicious of the local Native Sons. Kuck was born here thirty-six years ago and after completing his education, entered business college and shortly afterwards went to Merced where he became one of the leading contractors in that section of the state. He took sick three years ago and has been unable to attend to business since. Deceased came here three months ago and spent his last months of his life with his uncle and aunt. He never married and his surviving relatives are a sister, Mrs. Grub and a half sister, Mrs. Keiser. The interment was at Union Cemetery where his mother and father are buried. His father ‘Dick’ Kuck was one of the early businessmen of Redwood City, and the first postmaster of Menlo.
