MARY LEONARD

Mrs. Mary Leonard, aunt of Henry McGarvey and a resident of this city for over forty years, passed away at her home on El Camino Real last Saturday morning. Death was caused by pneumonia and followed a short illness. Mrs. Leonard was a very estimable and lovable woman and was held in high esteem by all that knew her. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from her late residence, where the services were conducted by Rev. S.C. Thomas of the Methodist-Episcopal Church. The interment was in Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Leonard was a native of New York and was 84 years old. She was a sister of Owen McGarvey and is survived by her nephew Henry W. McGarvey with whom she had made her home for many years and two nieces, Mrs. James Bell of Bellvale and Mrs. D. Paynter of Millbrae.
