OBITUARY ---------------

AGNES PETERSON

Redwood City Democrat

October 10, 1907

The following communication was received too late for insertion in the last issue of the Democrat.

Mrs. Agnes Peterson died on Friday, Sept. 27 after a lingering illness. The deceased was the second eldest daughter of Mrs. Peter Early of Woodside. About five years ago she married Joseph Peterson, an exemplary young man, and two handsome children are the result of their union. She had been ill for several months and despite all that medical skill could do, she passed away, surrounded by all her loved ones. She was a bright cheerful woman, despite all her sufferings. She leaves to mourn her besides a loving husband and two small children, a mother, three sisters and three brothers.

The funeral took place Sunday afternoon, from the family residence at Woodside, thence to Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment at Union Cemetery, Redwood City.

The funeral was largely attended by many sorrowing friends and the floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.

“There is no flock, however watched and tended But one dead lamb is there. There is no fireside, howsoever defended But has one vacant chair,”

Mrs Peter Early and family of Woodside desire to return thanks to their many friends and neighbors for the kindness and sympathy shown them during the sad hour of their bereavement.
