ELIZABETH (WHITE) SAMPSON

Mrs. Elizabeth Sampson, one of the oldest residents of this city and aunt of C.C. Benson, local contractor, passed away at her home, 503 Bradford Street, Tuesday night following an illness of several years. Mrs Sampson was the widow of David Sampson, a pioneer lumber mill owner of the county. The husband died about 18 years ago. She had been a resident of Redwood for over 45 years and was a charter member of General George S. Evans Relief Corps of this city. Mrs. Sampson was a native of Maine and was 84 years of age. Interment at Union Cemctcry
