ANDREW TEAGUE

died March 11, 1884

aged 61 years, 7 mo.

Andrew Teague was a leading citizen of Woodside. He came in 1853 and engaged in the lumber business for seven years. In 1854, he was chosen one of the Supervisors for San Francisco County, of which San Mateo County was then a part. In 1858, Woodside established a public library and Andrew Teague was temporary chairman. In 1860, he moved to Redwood City and practiced law. In 1869 he was elected District Attorney.
