OBITUARY ---------------

CHARLES O. WENTWORTH

Redwood City Democrat

April 22, 1909

Pathetic in the extreme is the untimely passing away of Charles O. Wentworth which occurred Tuesday afternoon. The deceased had been ill but a few days. On the morning of Tuesday while in a delirium, he eluded the vigilance of those who were caring for him and left his room. When he reached the sidewalk he fell and injured his skull thus hastening his death.

The deceased was the son of Sarah A. and the late George Wentworth, a native of Redwood City, 43 years of age. For the past two years he had charge of the rural mail service out of this city and performed his duties faithfully at all times regardless of season or weather conditions

The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30. Services will be conducted at the family home on C Street by Rev. C.C. Kirtland after which the Masons will take charge # and officiate at the burial in Union Cemetery.
