MISS VALERIE WORTHY

Miss Valerie Worthy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Worthy of 903 Arguello, passed away Monday following a long illness. The family came to Redwood about six months ago for the benefit of the young woman’s health.

Miss Worthy was a native of Tennessee and was 18 years of age. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a number of brothers and sisters.

The funeral was held yesterday from the Chapel of James Crowe Company, Rev. Bovee of the Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Union Cemetery.
