PHOTOS FROM MEMORIAL DAY 2018

Here are some photographs of MEMORIAL DAY in UNION CEMETERY 2018.

PLEASE NOTE: This year I am short a few photos, but I still want to mention, and thank:

  • Daisy Troop #62510. Daisies, as I understand it, are younger than Brownies. This troop handed out programs to people walking in, and I heard from attendees that they were right on top of things. I also heard they wore uniforms. I regret to say I never got to see them.
  • Boy Scout Troop #321. This troop handled the thankless, but important, job of directing the parking for us. Not only did they have to turn people away from good-looking nearby parking that just wasn't available to us, but they also could not see what was happening down at the Grand Army. I thank this troop VERY VERY MUCH. THANK YOU!

I saw a lot of people with cameras at this event. If you have a photo that you think would fit well onto this webpage, please send it to me .

(All photos and video taken by David Burr, except where noted. Thanks Dave.)
