Died in Woodside

Thursday Hugh Ballard of Woodside died from consumption. He had been a resident of this county for a year, and most of the time was unable to work owing to his illness. Not long since his neighbors assisted by Rev, Mr. Moore raised funds for the support of himself and his family who were almost destitute when the charitable people of Woodside interceded for them. Deceased was a native of Kentucky, aged 25 years. He leaves a widow and three children. He was buried in Union Cemetery, Saturday afternoon.
