DANIEL DAVIS PARSONS

Redwood City Democrat

May 12, 1898

D. D. Parsons, an old and honored citizen of Redwood, died suddenly on Tuesday evening while visiting a neighbor. Dr. Ross pronounced the cause to be congestion of the brain. Deceased was a native of Maryland, aged 72 years. He was a quiet, steady, unassuming man of unquestioned probity. For years he lived at the Redwood City house. He was a brother of Lemuel Parsons who was for many years superintendent of our streets. A brother in Osco, Illinois named John S. Parsons survives deceased. The funeral will take place from the Congregational Church this afternoon at 2 o’dock, Rev. Mur officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery.
