OBITUARY ---------------

ALFRED J. BEER, JR.

Redwood City Democrat

June 27, 1907

Alfred J. Beer, Jr. son of Mr. And Mrs. A.J. Beer died June 21 at his home in this city at the age of 35 years. Up to a short time ago the deceased never had an illness but stomach trouble recently attacked him and this complicated with heart trouble carried him off. He returned from Howard Springs, Glenn County, where he had gone for relief, only a few days before his death. Alfred was the oldest of twelve children, ten of whom survive him. He was a building and contracting carpenter. His life has been spent wholly here and he was very popular among his many friends. He leaves besides his parents, brothers and sisters, a wife and child to mourn his loss. Mr. Beer was member of the Woodmen of the World, who conducted the funeral, assisted by the Ancient Order of Foresters of which he was also a member.
