MRS. M. P. BEESON

Mrs. Mehetable P. Beeson, a resident of this city for over sixty years passed away at her home on Buckeye Street last Saturday Mrs. Beeson was born in Boston, Mass, 79 years ago. She made the perilous trip across the plains in a bull team, arriving in San Francisco, February 1, 1852 She came to this city shortly after her arrival in California and has made her home here ever since. She was the wife of the late Edward M. Beeson, a pioneer wheelwright of this city who died in _____.

The deceased is survived by three sons and two daughters — Albert, Will, Edward and Ella Beeson and Mrs. George Allen, besides a number of grandchildren and great grand children.

The funeral took place from her late residence. Rev M.B. Young of the Methodist Church conducting the services. The interment was in Union Cemetery.
