MRS. CATHERINE BOTTIGER

Redwood City Democrat

June 18, 1914

Mrs. Catherine Bottiger, a resident of Woodside for nearly forty years, passed away in San Mateo Sunday. The deceased was the wife of the late John Bottiger and is survived by a son Henry Bottiger, and two daughters, Mrs J. Hallett and Mrs. R. Barteaux. She was a native of Germany, aged 74 years, 11 months, and 16 days. The funeral services were held in the chapel of the Redwood City Undertaking company Tuesday afternoon. Many old friends and neighbors were present. Rev. C.H. Stevens conducted the services and appropriate musical selections were rendered by the Congregational Church choir.

The deceased was laid to rest in Union Cemetery. The surviving relatives are deeply grateful for the sympathy and assistance given them in their bereavement for which they desire to make public acknowledgment.
