OBITUARY ---------------

MRS. CHARLOTTE J. DOUGLASS

Times-Gazette

April 19, 1890

Mrs. Charlotte J. Douglass died Thursday morning from a complication of diseases resulting in pneumonia of a most malignant type. Seeing the dangers, Dr. McCurdy had called in Dr. Barret and Loveland on the preceding day but their united counsel was unavailing to prevent the result and her demise took place shortly before noon. The sadness of the affair is increased from the fact that she leaves a family of small children. She is a native of this county having been born near Woodside 25 years, 8 months and 27 days ago and had been married to W.W. Douglass ten years. The funeral takes place tomorrow at 2 o’clock from the Methodist Church.MRS.
