EMILY W. VASQUEZ

Mrs. Emily W. Vasquez, 81, beloved pioneer resident of Redwood City, passed away this morning at her home at 702 Stambaugh St.

Mrs. Vasquez, a native of England, came to Redwood City in the early 70’s. She has long been active in the First Methodist Church.

She was the wife of the late Jesus Vasquez, sister of Mrs. 0.M. Hester of Los Altos. and of the late James H. Winter, the late Joseph M. Winter and the late George W. Winter. Also surviving are seven nieces and nephews, Mrs. Elizabeth Mansfield, Mrs. W. W. Hilton, Allen N. Winter, Lisle Winter, all of Redwood City; George Winter of Blairsden, Mrs H.E. Mansfield of Los Angeles and Leo J. Winter of San Francisco. Funeral services will be held at the Layng & Tinney Funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Earl D. Carter officiating.

Interment will be in the family plot at the Union Cemetery.
