Charles Durham 79, of 163 Rutherford Ave., retired farmer, who was born on King’s Mountain here and lived in this county his entire life time, died Wednesday at Palo Alto hospital after an illness of two weeks. Durham was unmarried and is survived by three sisters, Mrs J.J. Kelly of Woodside, Mrs. Bertha Ellenger of Redwood City, and Mrs. Laura Heidt of Santa Cruz. Durham was a member of Redwood City Parlor 66, Native Sons of the Golden West for over half a century and the chapter will hold special funeral rites at Layng and Tinney Funeral Home today at 2:30. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery.
