WILLIAM DURHAM

William Durham, one of the familiar old residents of this county, passed away in this city last Thursday. The deceased came here in 1853 and was a teamster from the nearby mountains to this city until 1857 when he acquired a large ranch on the mountains towards the coast side. The deceased is survived by four children, Charles and Frederick Durham, Mrs. John Kelly, and Miss Bertha Durham of this city. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon from James Crowe’s undertaking parlors. Interment was in Union Cemetery.
