Native of Redwood City Dies in S. F.

Ruben Oliver Elvin, 53, born in Redwood City and an early graduate of Sequoia High school, died yesterday in San Francisco, his home for the past 30 years. Elvin, a shipping clerk, had been in ill health for some time. He was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen and Foresters.

Deceased leaves three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Hangle of Burlingame; Mrs. John Ralston, North Fair Oaks, and Mrs. Edna Abbott, Hayward, and five brothers, Ferdinand Elvin of Alameda, and Frank, Arthur, John and Theodore Elvin, San Francisco. Funeral services will be held at 11 am tomorrow from Layng & Tinney chapel with interment in the family plot in Union Cemetery.
