OBITUARY ---------------

Unknown Man Found Dead near San Bruno

Times-Gazette

March 28, 1903

One of the conductors of the electric car line found the body of a man on Monday by the track about one mile from San Bruno. He immediately notified the Coroner's office and Mr. Pigion and Deputy Coroner Fox went down and got the body. The deceased was a large, fairly well-dressed man betwen 55 and 60 years of age. He had evidently committed suicide, as there was a strong odor of carbolic acid about him. Nothing was found upon him and no marks of identification. If he is not identified very soon he will be buried by the county.
